Levi children's T-shirt pattern update
Today I have an update for the Levi pattern for you. The update concerns several points and the pattern, so let's go over them all so you know what to print. The update is automatic for all customers. If you prefer the previous version, keep that saved as well. Of course, the original is not wrong and you can still sew with it normally. However, the old link will no longer work, and if you want the old version and can't access it, please write to asistentka@sibabi.cz and I or assistant Barča will send you the old backup.
New version has long sleeves
This is the main change to the pattern. I am adding a new long sleeve. This change is accompanied by a slight change in the shape of the armhole and sleeve cap. The cap is narrower, slightly flatter. This looks better on boys' clothes. This was a tip mainly from you, so it's incorporated :-) But don't worry, the T-shirt is still great for girls too.
The long sleeve is therefore part of the A4 and A0 files. You can finish the hem with a coverlock machine or finish with an overlock machine and use elastic threads on your sewing machine to stitch the folded hem from the right side with a straight stitch or a twin needle.
T-shirt armhole
The new update also includes a more aligned armhole for all T-shirt sizes, both front and back. This makes the armhole more even and prevents it from creating a "wave" when the child raises their arms.
Shoulder seams
I have also slightly, but very slightly, adjusted the shoulder seams of the T-shirt. This change moves the sleeve cap closer to the shoulder.
Print new version? Yes or No?
The question of whether to print the new version or not is entirely up to you. The new pattern has a few improvements, but you may not necessarily want them. If the previous version suits you, which, I repeat, is not wrong, then keep that one. The new version has a long sleeve, but it is likely that it will not fit into the existing armhole. Therefore, if you want long sleeves for the original version, you need to measure this sleeve in the armhole and, if necessary, adjust the armhole cap at the edges.
All customers who purchased the original version now have the new update in their inboxes. Please download this update. The original version is automatically deleted from the website with this.
