Happy day, my dears, the Christmas mood is in full swing here.
This is probably due to Christmas movies like Home Alone or watching Christmas-themed fairy tales (do you also love "S čerty nejsou žerty"? ❤️) and also gift shopping.
For example, I started thinking about what to get my closest sewing friends. What should I give them? A new ruler? Or maybe buy them a new pattern?
So I started browsing Pinterest, Etsy, and Amazon and found so many ideas I want to share with you. Maybe you're also looking for the perfect gift for your sewing friend right now and can't come up with anything.
Sewing Earrings
If there's something more "girly" then correct me, but sewing earrings? WOW! This is a TOP among tops for me, and I definitely have a pair on the way.

"Sewciopath" T-shirt
When I was looking for a T-shirt that my sewing "bestie" could wear to our workshop gatherings, I needed something pink, and then I found this! It's so perfect. Extremely apt and, most importantly, funny.
And if you don't want to buy a T-shirt, you know there's a plotter, and AI will generate the text for you (or you can draw it yourself), and you can even sew the T-shirt.

Miniature Sewing Machine?? Seriously? Yes!
This is a gift not for little girls, as one might easily think, but for adults! A miniature sewing machine for your handbag or shelf? Or for your workshop? This is an unexpected little gift that also supports the creator. You can even try to make it yourself.

Pincushion in the shape of a machine. Finally, something visible!
If I got a pincushion in the shape of a machine, I'd put it by my machine and never again wonder, "Where the heck is that pincushion?"

Sewing machine stamp. Brilliant.
As a mom, I occasionally need to mark something I made for my kids or put a mark on a thank-you card. This is small but sweet and will definitely bring joy.

Keychain with machine and scissors.
Gift your friend or mom this beautiful charm. From today on, everyone will know which "gang" they belong to. It's a stylish statement piece. This is so sweet.

Mousepad with a sewing machine
Each of us occasionally (some more, some less) works at a PC. And girls, who wouldn't want a proper mousepad that keeps your hands warm, prevents elbow pain, and even features a sewing machine?
This little gift is fantastic; it will brighten up the space where the recipient spends a lot of time when not sewing.

DIY handbag kit!
And this is my biggest favorite. You can sew a handbag from a pattern, right? But to get a kit with it? You won't impress anyone with just a pattern anymore. But a whole kit? Whoa! That's awesome. You can even assemble the kit yourself if you dare. It's a beautiful idea.
I just recommend making a kit for the person that will be fun for them to sew and assemble. Something like this handbag!

Book for more advanced sewers on patterns: The Fashion Design Toolkit
If your friend or mom is really into sewing (grandmas, mothers-in-law, or sisters count too, and even men, to be perfectly inclusive), then this book is a treasure. Be warned, English is necessary, but I believe this can be easily overcome if you are proficient in English.
It's a beautiful gift that will connect you. You can translate for the recipient and experience so many new moments together.
You can find the book on Amazon here or sometimes on Megaknihy.

Patterns from A to Z - Fashion Patternmaking Techniques (1, 2 or even 3)
These books have given me so much, and as a gift idea for a totally obsessed sewer who's eyeing their own patterns, these are priceless.
The books are expensive. And they are in English. But they are absolute treasures. I love them, and they offer an incredible amount. Formulas for hand-drawing basic blocks for dresses, pants, t-shirts, jackets, underwear, but also for bags, handbags, and backpacks. A huge source that shows how to do modeling, grading, etc.
You can find the link to this book here.

So what do you think?
Did you like my selection? I'd be happy if you save this article, leave a comment with more tips, or share it.
Best regards and wishes for a beautiful December
