I designed the cut for airy and very fitting retro shorts with Joss shorts for warm summer days, when the child does not need to wear anything other than only airy and pleasant fabrics. Joss is designed for fabrics, muslins, cottons and linens. Of course, you can also sew with knitted materials.
The cut has several versions for sewing. The versions are described in the photo guide with sewing instructions. You can use buttons and buttonholes in this cut, but you don't have to. They can be replaced with snaps or prints.

Moderate beginner or more advanced. The cut is very easy to sew. When knitting from fabrics, it is necessary to know the behavior of the fabrics and choose a suitable type of needle and clean the edges appropriately.

What type of fabric?
Cut construction is for woven fabrics. Muslins, fabrics such as cotton, linen and other woven airy fabrics. You can also sew with knitwear.
Fabric consumption:
approx. up to half a meter of fabric
What machine:
I recommend sewing on an overlock or a single needle. If you will be sewing on an overlocker, I recommend using a safety seam.
Needles:
I recommend needles width 75 to 80 for single needle machines. Fabrics do not need to be sewn with a special needle.
